Affiliate disclosure

Required by law, and worth reading anyway.

PlayersB is a participant in the eBay Partner Network, an affiliate programme that pays a commission on qualifying purchases made through links on this site.

In plain English

Some links on playersb.com are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, eBay pays us a commission — typically a low single-digit percentage of the sale. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway. Nothing is added to your total, and no discount is withheld from you.

What this does not change

  • No brand pays to be featured here, and no brand can.
  • We are not sent free products, so there is nothing to feel obliged about.
  • We recommend gift cards, cheaper alternatives, and "buy nothing in this category" where those are the right answers, despite earning us less or nothing.
  • Commission rates differ between product categories. We do not steer you toward higher-paying ones, and you can hold us to that — the guides consistently recommend low-commission items like store gift cards.

Why only one retailer

Right now every link here goes to eBay. That is a deliberate choice rather than an exclusive deal — we are not paid to send you there rather than anywhere else, and no agreement prevents us adding other retailers later.

It does mean you are seeing one retailer's stock, which will sometimes not be the best price or the best option available. Please shop around. If something on this site looks worth buying, it is worth thirty seconds checking elsewhere too, and we would rather say so than pretend one shop always wins.

A practical note on eBay specifically: it sells both new and used items, and listings can be auctions or fixed price. If you are buying a gift that has to arrive new and on time, check the item condition and the delivery estimate before you commit.

About prices

We deliberately do not publish prices on this site. Retailer prices change frequently, sometimes several times a day, and a price printed on a web page is usually wrong by the time you read it. Every link takes you to the live listing so you see the real, current price and availability before you decide.

Links are marked

Affiliate links open in a new tab and carry rel="sponsored nofollow", which is the standard machine-readable marker for a monetised link. Every page that contains one shows a disclosure notice above the first link, not buried at the bottom.
